ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Our client is a Sydney-based Geophysics consultancy providing near-surface geophysical surveying services to support engineering investigations across multiple industries. The company have been established for several years, providing specialist services independently in partnership with leading local engineering organisations.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Based in the company’s Sydney offices, as a Junior Geophysicist you will be responsible for conducting a variety of geophysical surveys including Seismic Refraction, MASW, Electromagnetic and GPR. You will also oversee the processing of Geotechnical datasets relating to a variety of marine and land-based projects.

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this Junior Geophysicist role in Sydney, you should have:

• A degree background in Geophysics
• Experience in conducting Seismic, MASW, Electromagnetic or GPR Geophysical surveys
• Experience in acquiring and processing complex geophysical datasets
• Familiarity with geophysical data acquisition equipment and processing software
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
• A current driver’s license, 4WD certificate advantageous
• Full working rights in Australia without the need for sponsorship
