ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

Mane Consulting is representing a New South Wales government department in their search for an NSW Government Master Scheduler to work across a program of Telco capital works projects. We are seeking an expert in the Oracle P6 (Primavera 6), system with prior experience in supporting high value Telecommunications or Transport projects within Australia. The organisation operate in a mature, PMO environment, providing detailed reports to other government organisations to outline the progress of major capital works projects. As they enter the next phase of program delivery, the organisation require a skilled and experienced Master Scheduler to deliver critical quantitative and probability-based reports based on the progress of the program’s delivery.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As the NSW Government Master Scheduler, you will report into the Director of Program Delivery, managing the administrative function of the P6 application and performing scheduling and risk activities across a portfolio of capital works projects within NSW. You will manage a receive assistance from another Scheduler whilst summarising quantitative and financial datasets into monthly and quarterly reports. You will work alongside a talented analytics team who will present outcomes using Databricks which you will translate into digestible report findings. You will utilise a range of statistical techniques including Monte Carlo and P50/P90 probability forecasting, ultimately ensuring that data and report findings are delivered efficiently, effectively and in line with government quality standards

ABOUT YOU

The be successful in the NSW Government Master Scheduler role, you should have:

• Expertise across all aspects of the Oracle P6 (Primavera) system
• Master Scheduler experience withing the NSW Government space or a relevant industry
• Exposure to large scale capital works programs across Telco or Transportation
• High level probability and statistical analysis/modelling experience (Monte Carlo, P50/P90 etc.)
• Outstanding report writing and the ability to translate complex data analytics findings into cross-departmental report findings
• Effective written/verbal communication, customer service & stakeholder management skills
