ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Consultant with deep expertise in geospatial data modeling, analysis, and transformation. You will lead and deliver technical data solutions for enterprise-scale geospatial systems and migrations, working closely with cross-functional teams and clients. You’ll play a pivotal role in designing and managing enterprise geodatabases, performing data migrations from legacy systems, and ensuring the integrity, quality, and performance of spatial and non-spatial data.
Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and modeling enterprise databases and geodatabases, including Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs).
• Leading data migration efforts and developing migration plans.
• Developing and maintaining spatial and non-spatial database environments.
• Writing and optimizing SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data validation, manipulation, and transformation.
• Collaborating with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose data solutions.
• Overseeing day-to-day database administration and ensuring performance and security across project environments.
• Contributing to innovation through technical discussions, sharing of ideas, and mentoring junior team members.

ABOUT YOU
You’re a seasoned data and GIS professional who enjoys solving complex data challenges and delivering enterprise-grade geospatial solutions. You bring a strong technical foundation in relational databases and a solid understanding of spatial systems and tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, GIS, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in data modeling, analysis, or management.
• 3+ years managing relational database environments (e.g., SQL Server or Oracle).
• Strong SQL and spatial database skills (ArcSDE, versioning, replication, etc.).
• Deep knowledge of enterprise geodatabases and GIS tools (Esri stack).
• Experience in developing data architecture, ERDs, and migration documentation.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Exposure to SAP HANA and/or geospatial data within SAP systems.
• Familiarity with tools such as FME, ArcGIS Pro/Enterprise, and Roads & Highways.
• Understanding of Linear Referencing Systems (LRS) and dynamic segmentation.
• Proficiency in data modeling software (e.g., Erwin, Sparx EA).
