About the Client
Our client is a global leader in cross-platform gaming, delivering leading online and land-based slot & casino gaming solutions to an international player base. With decades of experience in this market, they are positioned as one of the industry’s best known and most loved brands. Due to significant demand in releasing new games to market, they are seeking to expand their Sydney-based design team with the addition of a 2D Game & Graphics Artist – Slots.
About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a 2D Game & Graphics Artist – Slots, to create and illustrate a range of 2D game and graphic assets within the adobe suite (Illustrator, After Effects & Photoshop), with the help of modern generative AI art tools. You will create visually enticing game symbols, logos & typography which attract players to a wide-ranging portfolio of slot games. You will work on a hybrid basis in a fast-paced environment, as part of a talented & highly experienced team of Illustrators, Animators and Digital Art specialists.
About You
To be successful in this 2D Game & Graphics Artist – Slots role, you should have:
- 3+ Years of direct casino / slot gaming industry art experience
- Expert level knowledge of and experience within the Adobe creative suite
- Experience in utilising Generative AI art tools such as Google Labs, Chat GPT, Leonardo, Stable Diffusion etc. within professional workflows
- A 2D focussed skillset encompassing illustration, colour theory, perspective & animation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- A background in graphical design encompassing logos, symbols, typography and other highly polished game assets
