Business Support Officer | PART TIME

Our client is a well-established NSW Government organisation focused on delivering high-impact community services across the state. The current team is seeking additional support due to increasing project demands.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Support Officer to step into a part-time contract position, commencing as soon as possible and running until 31 December 2025. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting administrative operations and external outreach.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality administrative support to a busy business unit
- Coordinating documents, meetings, and scheduling for internal teams
- Making outbound calls to architecture businesses to introduce the agency and schedule meetings
- Supporting presentation preparation and internal documentation
- Managing electronic filing and business information in line with internal protocols
- Assisting in the continuous improvement of administrative systems
- Liaising with key internal stakeholders to manage workflow and communications
Work arrangements:
- 24 hours/week to start (3 x 8hr days), with potential to increase hours
- Initial split: 2 days in Parramatta (4PSQ) + 1 day WFH
ABOUT YOU
- Certificate in Business Administration (or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident making cold/outbound calls to professional stakeholders
- Prior experience in a government or corporate admin environment (preferred)
- High level of professionalism, organisation, and initiative
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a broader team
