ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Client Service Officer to join Our Clients Business Services team. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to support the team by providing crucial administrative and client services. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting support and a solid understanding of industry software, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and client support to the Business Services team
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate team members
- Assist in managing client files, correspondence, and documentation
- Process ATO lodgements using ATO SmartDoc
- Utilise software tools such as BGL, FYI, and Green Xero for client data management
- Manage ASIC compliance obligations and assist with entity set-ups
- Handle client onboarding, documentation, and correspondence
- Assist with billing, WIP management, and expense reimbursements
- Coordinate team training, internal events, and social functions
- Cover reception duties as required
- Maintain internal records, including staff procedures and intranet updates
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience in a similar administrative support role, ideally within an accounting or financial services firm
- At least 2 years of experience in office administration (preferably in an accounting firm or professional services)
- Strong familiarity with ATO SmartDoc, BGL Software, FYI Software, and Green Xero
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A positive, professional, and can-do attitude
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
