You’ll play a critical role in securing our cloud infrastructure, resolving security alerts, and ensuring compliance across our GCP environment. This project-based contract role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys solving complex security challenges.

In this role you will:

• Analyze and resolve GCP security alerts, configure firewalls, manage IAM roles, and implement best practices to safeguard our cloud environment.
• Conduct audits, improve performance, and ensure cost-efficient cloud operations.
• Implement security policies, encryption standards, and least privilege access to keep our environment secure and compliant.
• Leverage automation tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipelines to streamline security updates and processes.
• Perform vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and develop proactive strategies to counter cyber threats.
• Share knowledge with the team and maintain detailed security documentation.

To succeed you will need;

• Proven experience securing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
• Expertise in IAM, Cloud Security Command Center, and Cloud Armor.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, VMs, networks, and security incident resolution.
• Familiarity with GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO 27001 compliance.
• A passion for problem-solving, innovation, and staying ahead of cyber threats.
• Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification. is an advantage
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools.
