Communications Consultant / Communications Business Partner

Due to an increase in workload, they are seeking an experienced Communications Business Partner to join on an initial 6‑month contract, with the potential for extension.
About the Role:
As a Communications Business Partner, you will work closely with senior executives, Ministerial offices, and internal stakeholders to coordinate, review, and prepare high‑quality written communications on complex and often sensitive issues.
- Reviewing, coordinating, and preparing briefs, correspondence, and reports for senior executives and Ministers
- Managing quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to clarify issues and shape clear, well‑structured responses
- Coordinating time‑sensitive and confidential matters in a high‑profile environment
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, templates, and ways of working
- Providing advice, guidance, and support to stakeholders to build capability and consistency
- Maintaining awareness of current issues, emerging risks, and relevant government priorities
About You:
You will thrive in this role if you are confident operating at a senior level and comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments.
- Proven experience in communications, business partnering, executive support, or a similar role
- Experience working in government or a highly regulated environment (highly regarded)
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate documents
- You will operate in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment where discretion, attention to detail, and sound judgement are essential.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a strong customer‑service mindset
- Sound judgement and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
- Confidence using systems and adapting quickly to new processes and technology
