Position: Shared Service Support Officer

Location: Wagga Wagga
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 Months (Potential for Extension)
Pay Rate: $35 – $40 Hourly + Superannuation (PAYG)
Hours: 7 max hrs/day, 35 hrs/week

Our Client, a leading NSW Government organization, is seeking a dedicated Shared Service Support Officer to join their dynamic team in Wagga.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the values of the NSW Public Sector and the organization, aiming for outstanding outcomes.
  • Resolve first-contact enquiries from various customers with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Offer courteous and empathic communication, showcasing commitment to high-quality service.
  • Process a variety of transactions, ensuring alignment with shared service guidelines.
  • Escalate complex enquiries when necessary, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Utilize computerized systems, technology, and telephony solutions effectively.
  • Collaborate within a team environment, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Adhere to individual KPIs and participate in quality assessments and discussions.

Key Challenges:

  • Manage high volumes of varied transactions while upholding exceptional customer service.
  • Consistently deliver quality service across different channels amidst fluctuating demands.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively to meet individual and team performance objectives.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on transactional accuracy.
  • Technologically savvy, able to adapt to various software and systems.
  • Prior customer service and general accounts admin experience.
  • Background in call center operations is advantageous.
  • Excellent team player with robust communication skills (written and verbal).

  • 2 x Successful Reference checks (mandatory)
  • Right to work in Australia (mandatory)
  • Acceptance of Code of Conduct (mandatory)
  • Submission of proof of ID
