About the Role

As an Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading a mid-sized software development team, ensuring efficiency and high-quality output.
• Tracking team performance, refining processes, and adjusting timelines to deliver outstanding results.
• Mentoring and inspiring the team to reach their full potential.
• Fostering a continuous improvement mindset and helping the team identify bottlenecks.
• Motivating the team to enhance delivery efficiency and performance.
• Balancing leadership duties with hands-on technical work (approximately 60% leadership, 40% technical).

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A strong technical background with experience in leadership roles.
• The ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and guide a team to high performance.
• Proficient in React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Go.
• Expertise in managing projects and ensuring successful outcomes.
• A dynamic approach, balancing leadership responsibilities with technical tasks.
• A focus on developing team skills and maintaining a high level of team cohesion.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model, with three days in the Brisbane office and two days from home.
