Job Opportunity: Finance and Administration Officer
Location: Erina, Central Coast
Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000 per annum + Super
Purpose of Role: Join our client’s dynamic team in Erina as a Finance and Administration Officer. This pivotal role involves executing accurate and efficient financial transactions and accounting activities. You’ll be responsible for various tasks, including banking, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, audit work papers, and ensuring compliance with Our Clients finance policies. This position also encompasses payroll leave coverage and overall organizational administrative support, making it an excellent opportunity for a versatile professional.
- Data entry for Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), including the upload of relevant documentation.
- Generation of purchase orders.
- Preparation of EFT payment runs (weekly and ad-hoc).
- Processing of all payments and receipts.
- Journal entry and reconciliation of company credit cards.
- Proactive follow-up on outstanding debtors.
- Monthly reconciliation of AP and AR.
- Assistance in end-of-month processes.
- Collaboration on audit queries.
Payroll – Leave Coverage Only:
- Completion of end-to-end payroll processes.
- Involvement in the month-end process as required.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the Erina office.
- Assisting in phone answering duties.
- Responsibility for the maintenance of Erina office vehicles according to policy.
- Fulfilling other duties as directed by the Financial Services Manager.
Appointment Prerequisites: Before employment can commence, the following checks must be completed:
- Verification of current NSW driver’s license.
- National Police Check.
- Certification of tertiary qualifications and professional memberships.
