About the role

  • Collaborate within a growing team to deliver business services and address diverse tax issues.
  • Utilize excellent technical skills to manage Australian tax and accounting compliance.
  • Apply business skills to assist clients with cashflow planning, budgeting, and management accounts.
  • Play an integral role in client deliverables through proactive communication at all levels.
  • Ensure strict adherence to systems and procedures regarding file management, security, and documentation.
  • Review accounting and taxation work prepared by the team (applicable for Senior level roles).
  • Solve problems and make decisions effectively to improve the quality of services provided to clients.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development for yourself and the wider team.

About you

  • 1-3+ years of related accounting experience, preferably within an Australian accounting practice.
  • CPA/CA qualified, or currently nearing the completion of your studies.
  • Possess a high level of personal maturity and strong values and ethics.
  • A self-starter who thrives on challenging work and gaining exposure to a wide variety of business services.
  • Proficient in cloud-based systems, specifically Xero and XeroTax.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to review and draft advice for Australian advisers.
  • Exceptional time and project management skills with high attention to detail.
  • A collaborative mindset with a desire to work in an environment that values connectedness and shared goals.
