Our client is an instantly recognisable household name. They are seeking a high calibre ML /AI Engineer within their growing and impressive Data team. In recent years they have significantly increased products and services for their customers. Due to this expansion in their offering and associated customer acquisition, they are seeking an ML /AI Engineer in order to provide increased visibility to the firm through insightful analytics based activity and solve complex business challenges.

The Role:

• Develop and deploy ML models for predictive analytics, automation and personalisation
• Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
• Design and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) for enterprise use cases including summarization, classification and conversational AI
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists and product teams to integrate AI into scalable platforms
• Apply deep learning, NLP and computer vision techniques to solve complex problems
• Monitor model performance and retrain as needed to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Contribute to governance frameworks and ethical AI practices
• Stay ahead of emerging trends and tools in ML/AI

The Successful candidate:

• Experience in data science, applied statistics, machine learning (ML) or artificial intelligence (AI)
• An academic background in statistics, mathematics, computer science, actuarial studies or similar is required
• Experience in advanced analytics, Data Science or AI solutions in both prototype and production is highly valued.
• A high level of proficiency in Python and SQL is required
• Demonstrated clear and thorough logical and analytical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills
