ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Mane Consulting is representing a leading Sydney-based University and education institution in their search for a Principal Network Platform Architect to join their team on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract basis. The organisation are in the process of modernising their existing network infrastructure to support a wide variety of BAU and project-specific requirements in the coming years.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Principal Network Platform Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing a brand new, high-performing and highly secure, code-based network. As part of a talented, multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with senior technical leadership to define the functional and security requirements of the network system.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the network’s architectural design and establish reference architecture practices
• Utilise modern design practices such as Infrastructure as Code
• Integrate observability, asset management, logging, RBAC, Zero Trust approach, ServiceNow workflows, and vulnerability ecosystems
• Design and take ownership of NetSecOps pipeline
• Work closely with technical leaders to define security and compliance requirements
• Take ownership of MSP relationships and communications to ensure the organisation are receiving value and the right level of external support

ABOUT YOU

The be successful in the Principal Network Architect – 12 Month FTC role you should have:

• Experience in designing and revamping network architectures using modern design practices
• Expert level knowledge of NetSecOps and experience in integrating security controls with enterprise observability and vulnerability management platforms
• The ability to contribute and review complex designs within a varied, hybrid technical infrastructure
• The ability to communicate and hold to account senior project stakeholders and external MSPs
