Mane Consulting is representing a market leading provider of Geophysical software solutions and data processing services who, in line with rapid business growth, are seeking a Senior Geophysicist & Project Manager to join their team. The company have multiple offices across Australia and support large-scale offshore projects, with a particular specialism in airborne geophysics & mineral exploration.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Within this role you will manage a guide a team of talented data processing professionals, assisting in the analysis and processing of varied geophysical datasets. This is a great opportunity for a process-driven individual with strong communication skills to introduce and maintain efficient processes from a project and team management perspective. Playing a crucial role within the business and team, you will be responsible for:

• Overall management of the data processing team
• Analysing & understanding complex geophysical datasets
• Implementing efficiencies and better working practices across multiple projects
• Collaborating with the aquisition team and wider business to support continued expansion
• Consulting with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clients needs are being met

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this Senior Geophysicist & Project Manager role you should have:

• Varied experience across geophysical data acquisition, data processing, analysis, qualitative interpretations and quantitative modelling
• Excellent team & project management skills
• A background in mineral exploration, mining, or highly transferable skills
• Excellent communication and consultative skills
• Experience with various geophysical software & data processing solutions
