ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

A renowned Global Investment Firm requires a Senior Tax Accountant due to a continued phase of growth. You will work closely with leading Tax professionals enhancing your technical development. Applications welcome from Tax Professionals in Private Practice, Commercial Sector & Funds.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Efficient and accurate delivery of Tax Reporting requirements in the Investment Funds space
• Calculation and delivery of distribution calculations, superannuation fund tax calculations and tax returns.
• Understanding of Fund operations including Unit pricing, NAV Calculation beneficial – training provided however
• Displaying leadership and sharing knowledge to staff on unit trust distribution calculations, superannuation fund tax calculations and tax returns
• Working as a Team with objectives of meeting Service Delivery KPI’s from a tax reporting and funds perspective
• Production of the monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc client Tax Reporting/Deliverables.
• Driving standards relating to operational compliance and risk policies.
• Actively monitoring the internal tax reporting infrastructure and templates.
• Continuous learning on the Tax regulations, Investment Control and Risk Management
• Collaborating with Fund Managers, Senior Stakeholders and internal Data & Service teams
• Adherence to Investment Fund and Tax Controls to ensure compliance and integrity in reported data

ABOUT YOU

• Degree qualified with 3 years + relevant experience in the Tax sector. Some knowledge of Wealth, Funds Services, Super, Custody or Investment Management sector beneficial
• Good knowledge of Tax , Fund Accounting mechanisms and Investment market products
• CA/CPA/CTA Beneficial – Private Practice / BIG 4 Tax experience welcome
• Team Player with flexible attitude to team goals and strong attention to detail
