As a Snowflake Data Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming our data landscape, working with cutting-edge technologies to solve complex business problems and drive intelligent solutions. Working with Government Data, must be an Australian Citizen to apply;

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines in Snowflake.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Implement data transformation and processing frameworks to extract and load data from various sources.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and performance optimization within the Snowflake environment.
  • Develop and manage ETL processes using industry best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Stay ahead with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, bringing new ideas and innovations to the team.

    To succeed you will have:

    – Proven experience in Snowflake data warehouse design and development.

  • Strong expertise in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages.
  • Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, warehousing, and best practices in data architecture.
  • Experience in Dataiku OR DBT
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS) is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake best practices and new features
  • Background in the financial services industry is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a knack for working in a collaborative environment.
