About the role

Working directly with experienced tax leaders, you’ll manage a portfolio of clients and play a key role in mentoring junior staff, while also building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Depending on your experience, your responsibilities may include:

• Managing and reviewing tax compliance obligations including income tax returns, FBT, CGT, and tax effect accounting.
• Providing strategic tax advice and structuring solutions to a diverse client base.
• Preparing and reviewing technical tax memos and reports.
• Identifying and managing tax risks, applying both local and global quality control standards.
• Contributing to internal and external tax training, thought leadership, and client presentations.
• Collaborating with partners on business development initiatives and client growth strategies.
• Staying across legislative changes and contributing to commentary for Treasury, the ATO, and industry bodies.

About you

• CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent), or progressing through CTA.
• Between 3 – 5 years of experience in corporate tax, either from a professional services firm or a commercial environment
• Whether your background is in accounting or law, your technical tax knowledge is solid and you’re eager to keep learning
• You’re a confident communicator who can build rapport with clients and internal teams alike
• You’re ambitious, driven, and ready to join a firm that offers above-market salaries and a clear path for progression
